"What makes up the cost of each box of fish?"
- The listed price of boxes placed into your shopping cart includes both the cost of the fish and the cost of shipping, which is $42.00US per box.
"Why must I provide my phone number at checkout?"
- We will use your phone number to contact you with the flight information of your fish.
"Can you deliver my fish straight to my door?"
- The best way to assure the safe delivery of your fish is to fly them to the closest major airport of your choosing to be picked up by you, our customer. This way the fish are handled by less people. As you know, fish are very delicate and the least amount of time on the road, the better. We do offer our Koi to You program which delivers boxes to your door for a higher shipping cost. Fish are not guaranteed through our Koi to You program.
"Which day can I expect to recieve my order?"
- Thursday. As long as your order is placed on or before Noon on Tuesday, you can expect us to ship it on the Thursday of that same week (or on another Thursday of your choice). Our shipments always fly on a Thursday so therefore, if you miss the chance to place an order before Noon on Tuesday, your order will ship the following Thursday.
Listed here is the process, step by step:
- Place an order online through paypal, specifying which fish you want and how many boxes.
- After the transaction is complete, you will recieve a phone call from Blackwater Creek asking in which major airport and on which week you prefer your order to be flown.
- On the Tuesday or Wednesday following your order, you will receive another call from Blackwater confirming your flight arrangements with the airport you have chosen.
- On the scheduled Thursday of delivery, your order will arrive at the specified time at your chosen airport. At this time it is best to immediately check on the fish to make sure they have been delivered securely.
- Drive your fish home safely and enjoy!
